By far one of the best things I've learned in life is dickering. Also known as "jewing", flipping, chewing, and bargaining. Negotiation is a necessity in today's world. If you can't do it you need to learn how right now. Today.
The best way to do that is to get a job doing it. Even if it's part time and only for two months (minimum of two months or you won't learn anything!) you need to get your feet wet.

You'll be dealing with people all your life that dicker for a living. You can't fight if you don't have a gun.
The only way you're going to get a gun is to go out and build one yourself.

I recommend either door to door sales (vacuum cleaners, water filters, etc.) or car sales.
The reason is that both of these professions will TEACH you to negotiate. They'll hold your hand and
even though you'll think you're learning zilch, you'll be soaking up mounds of ability without even realizing it.
Why not RV or Home sales? Because Home sales isn't sales. Home sales is just window shopping with
a stranger. No one will teach you to sell the houses, you have to just show it and hope for the best.
RV sales is a toughie. You shouldn't even apply at an RV dealership unless you have skills already.
You'll be dealing with old people all the time who have money. They got that money by not spending it
with stupid salespeople like you. They'll eat you alive.

Now, say you go out and get your two month's training and love it...what to do then?
You can make a killing in sales, I'm not opposed to the lifestyle. The only thing is that most salespeople
get what's known as "burnout". They sell another car/truck/vacuum and then they're ...just...done.
They've seen all the people types in the world and they know how to kill all the objections to buying the
product. They're bored and they hate going to work each day.
If you decide to stick with sales and feel that happening, get out NOW.

Remember, we're in a knowlege based economy. You'll never get a degree in salesmanship and all
those awards you earned aren't worth a wet turd on the open job market.
Get yourself back into school at any place and start persuing whatever it is that interests you.
School = money.
